Checklist

The Checklist section puts a short list of check-marked points next to a photo — a quick “what you get with us” summary.

Use it near a product grid or before the footer to sum up your selling points: quality, safety, shipping, guarantees. Each item is one line with an icon; the section starts with an example you replace.

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Edit theme. (Older admin versions label this button Customize.)
  2. Open the template where you want the section.
  3. Click Add section and choose Checklist.
  4. Click Add block → Checklist item for each line (up to 10).
  5. Type your Text and pick an Icon per item, then save.

The Layout setting switches between three looks:

StyleLookNotes
Split (default)Photo on one side, heading and list on the otherImage position swaps the sides
Two columnsA plain two-column list without a photo
Tint cardsEach item becomes a soft pastel card in a gridOn phones the cards sit two per row
  1. Add the section and keep the Split layout.
  2. Upload an Image that matches your list (a product group, your packaging, your team).
  3. Edit the checklist blocks: one short benefit per line.
  4. Save and preview on the phone — two-column reading stays comfortable at 375 px.

  • Image: landscape around 1600×1200. It shows in the Split layout only.
  • Keep each item to one line (~40 characters) so no item wraps awkwardly on phones.
  • Four to six items read best; ten is the maximum.
  • Only promises you keep. Like all trust content, checklist lines are your claims — match them to your real policies.
  • In the Tint cards layout, cards use the theme’s pastel colors and stay consistent with other tinted sections on the page.
  • The photo is optional in Split — without one, the list takes the full width.

Product-page reassurance. Split layout, photo of the product in use, five items: “Vet-approved formulas”, “Free shipping over $49”, “30-day returns”, “Secure checkout”, “Real pet parents on support”.

Minimal grid. Two columns layout, heading “What’s included”, six short items with Check icons — no photo needed.

My list has nine items and looks crowded. That’s more than the layout was designed for — trim to the five or six points that matter most.

The icon I want isn’t in the list. Pick the closest of the eight built-in icons; for custom images, use a Multicolumn section instead.

The image doesn’t show. Images only appear in the Split layout — check that Layout is set to Split and an image is uploaded.
