Mission stats

Mission stats turns your brand’s numbers — pets helped, meals donated, years of service — into a colorful strip. Add a photo or video beside them if you like.

Use it to make your brand’s impact visible and memorable. Each stat is a big value with a small label — “150K+ / Pets nourished”, “5 years / Of tail wags”.

Enter numbers you can stand behind. These are your own claims about your business — use real figures, not placeholders borrowed from the demo.

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Edit theme. (Older admin versions label this button Customize.)
  2. Open the template where you want the section.
  3. Click Add section and choose Mission stats.
  4. The section is added with four example Stat blocks already in place — replace or delete those instead of adding new ones first (see Set it up: quick start).
  5. Fill in your real Value and Label in each block, then save.

The Layout setting switches between three looks:

StyleLookNotes
With image (default)Photo or video on one side, heading and stats on the otherThe photo scales and can overflow its frame like a cutout sticker
BannerA full-width colored band with heading, text, and stats — no media
Slim barA thin one-line strip of stats onlyThe intro text is hidden in this layout

Every layout sits on a Section background tint — one of four soft pastel colors.

  1. Add the section and keep the With image layout.
  2. Upload an Image — a transparent PNG cutout works best with the scale control.
  3. The section starts with four example stats: “150K+ / Pets nourished”, “5786 / Pets rescued”, “372 / Pets adopted”, and “2587 / Happy reviews”. Open each Stat block and replace the value, label, and icon with a number you can stand behind — hand-checkable real figures, not the demo claims.
  4. Delete the stats you don’t need (select the block and use Remove block), or add more with Add block → Stat.
  5. Save and preview on the phone: the stats wrap into fewer columns on small screens.

SettingDefaultOptionsWhat it does
IconHeartNone / Heart / Paw / Shield / Star / Leaf / Truck / GiftSmall icon above the value; choose None for numbers only
Value“150K+”TextThe big number — short is better (“12K+”, “5 yrs”)
Label“Pets nourished”TextWhat the number counts
  • Image: a transparent PNG cutout of a pet, product, or logo looks best — the image scales and overflows the colored band at high values. A plain photo also works; it sits inside the media frame.
  • Video: either upload to Shopify (best quality and autoplay handling) or paste a YouTube/Vimeo link. The uploaded video wins when both are set; the Image doubles as the video’s cover.
  • Values: keep them under ~6 characters so the stats stay on one row; move detail into the label (“12K+ / Meals donated in 2025”).
  • Stat blocks stack. On phones the stats sit in two columns; from tablet width up to four per row in the Slim bar layout.
  • The demo numbers are placeholders. The four starting stats (“150K+ / Pets nourished” and company) are examples — replace every one of them before publishing. The section counts nothing automatically; each figure is text you type.
  • One media channel wins. If both a Shopify-hosted video and a video URL are set, the uploaded video plays; with neither, the section shows the Image.

Impact strip. Banner layout, Lilac tint, three stats (“150K+ / Pets nourished”, “5 yrs / Of tail wags”, “98% / Happy pet parents”), heading “We care about pets”.

Founder moment. With image layout, a transparent PNG of your shop mascot at 110% scale, Cream tint, two stats and a “Our story” button.

My image sticks out of the colored band or looks cropped. Adjust Image scale (%) — values above 100 let a transparent cutout overflow the band on purpose; a solid photo stays inside its frame.

My video doesn’t play by itself. The section autoplays Shopify-hosted video only where the browser allows it (muted). YouTube/Vimeo links open in their player when shoppers tap play.

The text disappeared in the Slim bar. The Slim bar layout hides the intro text by design — switch to Banner or With image if you want the paragraph back.
