Contact form
The Contact form section gives shoppers a form to message you, plus info cards for email, phone, hours, or anything else.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Use it on your contact page (or anywhere shoppers ask questions). Messages arrive the same way as your store’s other customer emails — Shopify sends them to your sender email address, set in your store admin.
This form is for your customers. If you need help with the theme itself, use the support channel listed on the theme’s sales page instead.
Add it to a page
Section titled “Add it to a page”- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Edit theme. (Older admin versions label this button Customize.)
- Open your contact page template (or add the section anywhere).
- Click Add section and choose Contact form.
- Write the intro Text and add Contact info blocks.
- Save — the form works as soon as the page is published.
Choose a style
Section titled “Choose a style”There is no layout setting — intro and info cards on one side, the form on the other (stacked on phones). Shape it with your words and info cards.
Set it up: quick start
Section titled “Set it up: quick start”- Add the section and replace the demo Text with your own intro (“We reply within one business day”).
- Edit the Contact info block: your real email or phone.
- Add more info blocks for hours or address if useful (each is icon + heading + line).
- Save, then submit a test message and check it arrives.

Images and content tips
Section titled “Images and content tips”- No images — pair it with a Map section below if shoppers need directions.
- Put your real response promise in the intro and keep it: the demo “48 hours” is an example, not a setting.
- The form’s fields (name, email, message) follow Shopify’s standard contact form — spam protection included.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Where messages go: your store’s sender email (Shopify admin → Settings → Notifications, and your notifications settings). Check that folder — and its spam filter — when testing.
- It’s the store’s form, not theme support. Questions from shoppers come to you; theme questions go to the theme’s support channel.
- On phones the form moves below the intro and info cards.
Example setups
Section titled “Example setups”Service-first contact page. Intro promising one-business-day replies, Mail card with the support address, Clock card with hours, Paw card linking the FAQ.
Wholesale inquiry. Heading “Wholesale”, intro asking for business name and quantity, Phone + Mail cards for the sales team.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”I submitted a test but no email arrived. Check the sender email set in your Shopify admin and the spam folder; also confirm email forwarding for your domain works.
Can I add more fields (order number, subject)? The form uses Shopify’s standard fields. Ask for extras in the message itself, or link a custom form app.
Where do customers’ attachments go? The standard contact form doesn’t accept attachments — shoppers can link to photos hosted elsewhere.
